Should I hire a local lawyer?
Yes. We know the area, we know the people and we are accessible. We’ll work hard to make the process as easy for you as possible.
Do I need a specialist lawyer?
Yes, personal injury law is very specialized. We have over 50 years of experience handling injury and disability claims. It’s all we do, and we know how to handle claims.
When should I talk to a lawyer?
You should get legal advice as soon as possible after an injury. We’ll make sure that your claim gets off on the right foot and that everything is filed on time.
The insurance company gave me an offer. Will you review it and give me advice?
Absolutely. If the offer is fair, we will give you that advice and we won’t charge anything. If the offer isn’t fair, we go to work for you to make sure that you do get fair compensation.
How long will it take to resolve my claim?
We know that timing is important to you, so we’ll work hard to get your settlement as soon as possible. Claims can take many months, depending on the complexity.
Will I have to go to trial?
The short answer is no. In fact, we are able to settle the vast majority of claims before trial. However, if the insurance company refuses to offer fair compensation, then we will be aggressive at trial.
What types of injuries do you deal with?
The list is almost endless. We have experience managing claims involving brain injuries; orthopedic injuries (i.e. fractures); whiplash; soft tissue injuries; fibromyalgia; thoracic outlet syndrome; temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) disorder; headaches; post-traumatic stress disorder; vertigo and depression and anxiety.
We are also available to assist you if your benefits have been discontinued by your private insurer (i.e. Great-West Life, Blue Cross, etc.).
What are your fees?
It is always free for you to meet with us to discuss your claim and get some initial advice. If you decide to work with us, then you still don’t have to pay anything until your claim is resolved and our fees are simply based on a percentage of your settlement. We only get paid when you get paid.
